Corporate responsability
In each of our operations, we assume responsibility for the impact we generate economically, socially and environmentally, recognizing our influence on communities and the environment. This commitment drives our business practices and our approach to corporate responsibility. Proof of this is the Gran Canaria power plant, where since 2011 we have operated with the largest rooftop photovoltaic plant in the Canary Islands. This has been joined by a plant in the Tenerife warehouse and three future ones in Cape Verde, with a total of 2980kW of installed power. Additionally, we have changed all burners from diesel to gas and are making progress in replacing cold engines with low consumption models.

Sustainable Certification
In each of our operations, we assume responsibility for the impact we generate in the This approach is expanded with the Rainforest Alliance certification for our coffees and teas, along with the use of “Fair Trade” raw materials, enhancing the social responsibility of our products. Innovation also drives our company, demonstrated by our new lines of work, the adoption of compostable and biodegradable products to combat plastic pollution, and the search for patents to eliminate amenities bottles. At Emicela, these efforts converge in a strong dedication to sustainability, innovation and responsibility.
